Well... im not sure, and this is probably not it, but i don´t remember having a game-warden account, and used my fs2netd account at it and it worked... might that help you get your password back? i have no idea, but who knows? right?

I would like a little help, if you don't mind. 

Having got a broadband connection, I decided to try FSO multiplayer. I followed the instructions on the first post's link to Game Warden, and when I get to the lobby, it looks like this all the time:

EVERY TIME I get the same four channels! Even when I moved the fs2open_pxo.cfg out of the way, I still get the same four. I am using fs2_open_3_6_10r-20081210_r4989.exe with the 3.6.10 MediaVPs. Is this proper behaviour, or have I done something wrong? Argh, I just read the first post again, is it because I am using fs2_open_3_6_10r-20081210_r4989.exe? Which build do you suggest?

Unfortunately I'll be too busy.  Xmas decorating contest is being judged Sunday and I'm the raining champ.  Still got a ton of stuff to do.  After Sunday I'll be back playing for a few months.  No schedule for taking them down.   Just needs to be done before spring.   Although if there's a 60 degree day in January I'll skip FS2 to go outside.

at the bottom of the page there is a box marked games , click it there you will be presented with a server list , normally there are 2 freestanding servers ( fubars bar and grill and another for lmediavps , if you see something else there and it says forming in the server line , click it and click join , if  the game is in progress , try joining anyway , we are a polite bunch and will come and get you as such ,





as for the game tonight i should be there ,  if my hangover doesnt get any worse or i try to refeed it that is

So when I got to the screen I would click the Games button (in the very bottom-right corner), disregarding the thing at the top (with Eleh and all that), and I'll get a list of the games that you guys have on?

I don't wish to be a pain here, I just like to be sure on things. I look forward to playing if I'm not too late (I go on after 9 AM at my time which is +10 GMT IIRC).

I wanted to play again 2nite, but for my continuing problems with obtaining Freespace2 retail.

I will keep trying to obtain a copy (GoG wont accept my or my wife's credit card and my 1999 FS2 retail box is 400 miles away in storage). I hope the open community nature of FSO remains in time to come. It is a very unique idea - in the crush of commercialism that is the games market.

Took up space and wasn't playing at the time.

I was most active from April to July...then people stopped playing-ish.

So i lost interest.

I'm pretty certain that mic communication isn't available at the moment (correct me if I'm wrong), but during ingame, press 1 to type your message and press ENTER for your message to be seen by everyone.
