Was procrastinating over a paper due tomorrow and ended up writing a summary of the entire tortured history of my current romantic relationship. Fun, sorta. Should probably get going on that paper now.

I'm trying to shoo a fruit fly away. It's not big or dangerous, but it's annoying.

I don't think it will be that hard. I feel like I have a good grasp of the material from doing the homeworks and such. So I can't bring myself to get that worried about it.... Which may just be my undoing.

Would that all my romantic woes had one set of balls, so I could kick it repeatedly.

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.

And I should be writing a multithreading matrix multiplication algorithm...

****, the cpu can probably do all the multiplies and adds faster than the memory can be accessed, especially if all the cells are sequential in memory. i dont see that as something that would benefit much from multiple threads, it would just slow the whole process down.

It's just an exercise to introduce us to multithreaded programming. It's not meant to be actually useful. :p

mine is a nuclear systems test, so it WILL be rather hard.  from previous students in the class, we WILL be failing, it's just to what degree do you fail.
my lack of concern is what is concerning me.  i know i am not the least bit prepared, and yet i'm not even the slightest bit panicked.  yet.  but i still have almost 6 hours....
