Today, I got lost in the nuclear reactor building (which is a ****ing creepy place) and then I stepped into the crosswalk just as a bus went barreling by about 6 inches from my face.

My vision is really blurry.

Woke up at 4:30 (an hour before my alarm goes off) and automatically got started on my morning routine (breakfast, shower, etc) without realizing I was an hour early. So now it's 10 after five, my bus comes in an hour and a half, and I have a huge test first period. After getting five hours of sleep.

I have a habit of looking at FS1 or FS2 missions in FRED when I have nothing else to do, to look at some SEXPing. I had the misfortune today of opening a Silent Threat mission, and being reminded of exactly how insanely BAD the original was. It's like someone used FREDding as a drinking game- for every directive and useful message you put in the mission, you have to take another shot. And I guess eleven mission designers loosely agreed on some semblance of a plot about GTI developing a superdestroyer, and the goal was to make each mission in under thirty minutes while drunk. That's the ONLY way they can possibly have overlooked so many glaring design flaws and straight-up BUGS.

Y'know, I think I'll make a campaign sometime, that starts off following the plot of Silent Threat, but briefings and command briefings start lampshading how horrible it all is, when finally in Secrets Revealed the Hades shows up, and is informed by the mission designers (who are characters in the campaign) that it's just supposed to sit there and do nothing, until finally every single ship in the mission rebels against the mission designers, who then show up in a Sathanas and the real objective of the mission is to destroy them.

Great Grandma passed away today. I don't know how to feel, since I can't remember her when she wasn't senile. My memories start after she became this lady who never knew who I was.  I feel really bad, because my dad spent half his childhood with them, so it's a really big deal for him, but I don't have anything to feel sad about losing...

I just got my mid-year results. B or B+ for everything except for one module, which got A. Ironically, that subject that I got an A in is the least favourite subject among all my peers because they seem to think that it a) is a massive waste of time and b) has no relevance to what they were learning.

GPA in Singapore is used as a criteria to enter a University, out of a maximum of 4 points. The minimum for a student coming in from Polytechnic is 3.25, although that's pretty unsafe given that a number of students can easily do much better.

My GPA for this semester is 3.3636; for my entire period of polytechnic education it is 3.2427. There is one semester left, and the only module in it is my final year project. My final year project is worth an entire semester's grades, calculated on a 70-30 basis, with 70% from individual work and 30% from teamwork.

Holy hell.
