Yesterday, I got to play two games of WH40K using minis that weren't even mine.  Both of them were killteam games, which means that each figure was its own unit, instead of squads as units.  200 points per player, four players (for the first game).

I was playing Imperial Guard.  I dropped in with 10 guys.  I only lost 2.  One of the guys playing space marines dropped in with the same number.  He ended with one.  Another guy playing Imperial Guard dropped with 40 guardsmen, ended with 9.  Guy playing Dark Eldar had 15, didn't lose any.  We had to call it early, so I got 2nd based on points left.

Even better about that game is that my ten Guard troops killed three Space Wolves and a dozen imperial guardsmen.  I only lost one to return fire (from the guard).  The other got sniped by a Lancer (Dark Eldar).

It was a good day for the guard.
