Complete agreement. I can't relate to most high-school kids. Though to be fair, I would expect mature 30-year-olds to have a hard time understanding me (20).

It's nothing to do with relate to. I'm pretty sure I'd still be able to relate to a kid in highschool. I mean literally look. Your frame of reference for size and appearance has finally settled fixed but your expectations haven't yet caught up, so they literally look like elementary kids to you because that's what elementary kids looked like to you in size and appearance terms when you were in highschool.

I decided to simulate a flight from Birmingham to Schipol on Flight Simulator 2002 in a 737 - the flight I took with KLM at the start of 2008 when coming home from our trip to England then. I used the in-built flight planner and GPS to use the correct flight path, and the autopilot to keep me level and at the right alititude during the straight parts (it didn't work so well in some spots - it decided to let it stall trying to keep the right height). I made it all right, but only after doing some odd circling around before landing, and I landed a few metres short of the runway, but I didn't crash so I'm pleased (I probably scared the passengers witless and made them sick, though!). :)

If I recall correctly, it was an hour in total.

Incidentally, about half way through I noticed another passenger aircraft fly right over me. It wasn't too close, but I'm sure it was too close to be allowed in real life. :p

I see. :P Which side of the country do you live on, ssmit? At Jandakot you can observe similar things happening, with smaller aircraft, of course. :P

these days i dont find anyone under the age of 24 even remotely attractive.
