So BWO STILL ain't done? Ah well. And now the game needs to be bought legally? I'm confused. How can a game go from being free lisence to public to being back to legally sold ?!? FS was abandonware - the HOTU version was really the only way to get it aside from $100 copies on ebay, so downloading it wasn't costing [V] or Interplay any sales. Now that it's available on GOG, and GOG are awesome people who should be supported, pirating FS is less acceptable.

Post some VA samples here! BP could use good voice actors. Also, play BP, it's awesome.

It wasn't merely trolling.  It was a violation of the forum TOS, and you even agreed at the time that it was justified.  I see you have a selective memory.

Incidentally, the original term of copyright in the United States was 14 years, renewable once.  FreeSpace could have become public domain by now.

Well, obviously, since Vasudan Commander doesn't remember why he was banned, then he has a good chance of making the same mistake twice.  So it should only be a matter of time.  And if he does it again, this thread is a good argument for making the ban permanent.

Well, folks at Bohemia Interactive forums (ArmA series, Take On Helicopters, among others), for instance, would rather have you use their (crappier than HLP's, if that's possible) forum search and dig up a 100-year old thread about whatever you wanted to discuss, under a completely nonindicative name (personal experience!) rather than just start a new one. If you ever think HLP mods are bad, go to BI Studio forums and try posting anything. Oh, and watch yourself, their active mods are mostly from "USMC NCO" school of moderating.

Lots of inactive forums allow thread-necroing just because they don't want to discourage any kind of posting.
