Its an old page, but still, it makes me proud as one of the FreeSpace and its mod players.

I've been playing this game since 2000 and still playing it until now with the recent 3.6.12 and Derelict.

I decided to revisit some of my previous work (a certain demo campaign for which earned much well deserved critisism), checking who well the old tables still worked in conjunction with the current MVPs etc.... while the combat scenes looked totally stupid (old tables, old beam visuals )
However the background and new lighting settings gave it a whole new feel...

Screenshots with dark-blue, red nebulas and with lava planet are from my frozen minicampaign called Project Moyses - this is Polaris or Sirius system. That planet will be removed because autor probably won't allow me to use it in final version. It isn't canonical planet. Screenshots with swampy planet and blue and green nebulas are from not specified system and mission, just a showcase of new cruiser and other stuff. Planet is from Shadow Genesis.

No offense but what is a "canonical planet"? I can understand story elements, ships, even system layouts being "canonical" but planets? Anyway, feel free to use my lava planet if you need one. It's a little more violent than that one though. It's somewhere in the Celestial Objects thread.
