My Dad installed Linux Mint on the Laptop.
Looks pretty good! I'm liking it, especially cause of the fact that GIMP doesn't crash on me every god damn minute anymore (VISTA).
Here's a picture I've started working on, started from scratch 

I feel like fixing up a few things before I progress.

• 1. The glare from the sun and stars. There's no air in space, so it looks unrealistic :*(
• 2. The planets. I want to make more detailed textures, and I want to fix up (what looks like) the polar ice cap on the red one.
• 3. The background color. A bit greenish, ya think?
  

Any suggestions?

On a whim, I decided to try to find a Chansey holding a Lucky Egg. With my Stantler (with Frisk) at the front of my team, I went around searching, but no Chansey turned up. So I decided to just start using Zen Headbutt on everything so I could get some EVs with my Power item. I jokingly thought that I would find a Chansey with a Lucky Egg when I ran out of PP for Zen Headbutt (not that I would be using it on a Chansey, since it would take it out in one shot). So, I ran out of PP for Zen Headbutt, and started to walk up to the Pokemon Center. Then I encountered another wild Pokemon:

A wild CHANSEY appeared!
Go! KIRSTY!*
KIRSTY frisked its foe and found one Lucky Egg!

What do you know?

*Kirsty is the name of my Stantler.

Still an avid Pokemon player myself... have been since the first Gen. Problem is, I don't have nearly as much time to spend on it these days, so my progress through Platinum has been very slow.

What can I say? I found the games to be very fun, and they've remained so.
