Finished ME2. Ending with the
Human Reaper (omg Terminator lol)
could have been done better- "they look like the species that are used" is utter BS IMO. The
'Genetic essence' stuff,
other than using a very very soft SF term for it, doesn't seem as bad as 'ttuta described (unless there's something I missed)- sure,
brain-uploading into some kind of Culture Mind
would be much more impressive but it's still based on the fact that
the Reapers need us, about as much as a spacefaring race relies on their own tech to survive.
I like what they did with the
Protheans/Collectors.
That's a horrible fate for a species- I wonder if they're still conscious and know what they are/were.
I don't really buy that they 'couldn't' make a Prothean Reaper for some reason.
They manipulate DNA like we manipulate transistors- they would have found a way.
Got my whole team out and survived. I'll probably use this save file for ME3. I may play both of them over again sometime.
[EDIT]
Ah yes, "I should go", the immortal dialogue allegedly overused by Commander Shepard. We have dismissed that claim.
