You know why I hate this thread now? Whenever I see the title in the thread list I get that damn Smiths song stuck in my head.

Before the name change I'd get a fond memory of Mr. T, now I get Morrissey droning on and on about how he wants to kill himself. Why didn't he do us all a favor and do it before he wrote the song!

i remember seeing a local news report about some PETA demonstration. they had a bunch of teenage girls in bikinis laying about in cages and clear boxes and stuff with their faces painted like cats or some ****. PETA is full of freaks.

2nd Tabletop Battle of the Lunch Break (Day One)

Task Org Slayer
-5 M26 Pershing (Orange)
-5 M4A3E8 (Burgundy)
-5 M24 Chaffee (Yellow)

Task Org OpFor
-5 PzKpfw V (Neon)
-5 PzKpfw IV H (Green)
-5 PzKpfw III (Beige)

Objectives:
German and Allied forces are conducting Recon en force (the green dice scattered about the field)

Synopsis:
Both are forces are pretty even, my Chaffees and Easy 8s are slightly superior to their III and IV counterparts but the Panthers can still murder pretty much everything I've fielded. My plan is to seize the height above the town with my Pershings in hopes of pinning the Panthers from hull down positions long enough that my Easy 8s can swing out and around to attack on the right flank where their 76mm can do some damage to the Panthers. My left element of Chaffees will maneuver into a favorable position to hold the flank while the right element supports the Easy 8 attack and continues to recon more objectives for the allied force. If I can succeed in eliminating the Panthers with a portion of my Easy 8s and Pershing force intact I think I've have a fair shot of wining the field. The early stages of Day 2 will be telling.

Synopsis:
Currently things are roughly even. Unfortunately my M26 platoon is apparently crewed by unlucky bastards, right off the bat two tanks bogged down and suffered mechanical failures attempting to traverse a small patch of forested area. The remaining three commenced a long range gun duel with the Panthers which eventually lead to losing on of my Pershings despite hull down position with the Pershings doing piss all to the Panthers. Luckily my Easy 8's flanking maneuver was successful and they managed to destroy two of the Panthers so far. Additionally one of my M24s managed a on hit one of the Panthers, and despite not doing damaged the crew failed their morale check and are currently fleeing. My left flank is in a bad way one of my M24s managed to immobilize one of the Panzer IVs before being popped by the others and the rest of the platoon is bearing down on the other one. Tomorrow I hope to continue the Easy 8 flank attack using the bocage for cover and hopefully snuff the remaining Panthers. If that goes well I will pull the two functional M26s and two of the M24s and try to engage the Panzer IVs while the Easy 8s go hunt down his Panzer IIIs
