This seems like more of a split rather than a lock situation.
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

* Liberator is confused(again)
* Liberator wonders how Battuta, who is so driven by reason most of the time, could believe that he was put here by some extraterrestrial dictator from the universe before this one who is still around and directing events...

My God, it's so ridiculous I can't even keep a straight face while typing that.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

So, he's not a scientologist?
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

  • FRED needs lambdas!
If he were to, say, post a believable explanation in a serious tone explaining how he's not a scientologist and what he "really" thinks about them, then fine, but that's certainly not going to happen if he really is one.
And sabotage the lols he worked so hard to save?  No, Battman will have to run.  Because he is the hero HLP deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we’ll troll him. Because he can take it, because he’s not our hero--He’s a silent guardian, a watchful protector…a dork knight.

You win the Internet.

To those still wondering about whether Battman is srs: I'm not going to answer. Watching you guys squirm is so much more fun.

Posting in legendary thread.

(It was like 3 in the morning when I was reading this, and after the first few posts, I had no idea who or what was serious, so I figured I'd let it be and go to bed.  Then I re-read it again in the morning, and...well...)

Dear God, how many victims has the merciless Sarchasm claimed in this thread alone????

Sarchasm is a very dangerous predator, it must be satiated at all times for the good of mankind.

Well while we're on the topic Operation Clambake is a great read on exactly what's wrong with that particular religion-slash-scam.

Y so srs hlp

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Religion is the product of the mass computation of 6.7 billion human minds.  As such, every religion has its own truths and wisdoms, and also has its own falsehoods.  To find the true religion, one must find what is true in each religion and combine the truths to form one extensive whole.  Except Scientology, which seems to have no wisdom at all, though maybe I'm not looking deep enough.
