I feel incredible proud after downing an SU-27 in Lock On with an AIM-7 Sparrow, taking a missile to the right engine, causing a right engine fire, and then taking down his buddy with an AIM-9L, and flying my poor F-15C home on one engine and successfully landing all at night.

i don't think i've ever taken a non-fatal hit in that game.  closest would be AA fire in an A-10, but i'm usually at such low altitudes when that happens i can't limp back home before i slowly drift into the ground.

It's luck more than anything, I was jinking hard when the missile detonated and it was probably a miracle and a half that it didn't tear my starboard wing to shreds.

today whilst going to the post office i saw a 7 inch long slug on the ground. biggest gastropod ive ever seen. white with black spots. i nudged it with my shoe to make sure it was real and it retracted its 2 inch long antennae. i contemplated keeping it as a pet but i couldnt find a suitable terrarium.

i also got a helicopter.

My brothers misses has been in "resting labour" for three weeks. Her waters broke this morning. My second nephew (third child the oldest of my younger brothers) was born at either 17:25 or 17:35. Couldn't tell which as the pub i'm in (The Castle at Farringdon) is playing LOUD MUSIC. I shall use this knowledge to pull women and further my own attempts to create enough kids to make a mixed football team.
