finally finished the UV layout of the interceptor, it has been by far the most painfull ship (i've done) to unwrap so far
this means it's going to be completed in the next days, and once it is i will release all the ships that are complete now, with the missing bomber to follow whenever i have time

Are those coils part of the weapons system, shields, or engines?  If they were part of the engines, and if this was intended for the FS universe, it could be some Unification War era ship, perhaps the first fighter equipped with an independent subspace drive.

the coils are intended as part of the weapons, but the model can be used however campaign creators like

more tests, now all i need to do is to create shield icon and cockpit:
