I wish I could model so beautifully.
Keep up the good work.
Perhaps a lego inspired campaign is in order. If you decide to create one PM me up :D

Re: the endless paths of modeling lego ships
only the shield icon and the side thrusters
should be done in an hour

btw: i have updated all my fighters to use external primary weapon models, it doesn't look 100% awesome on the older models as they have not been built with this in mind, but i still like it, and maybe i will make slight adjustments to them later

Re: the endless paths of modeling lego ships
i has something new!
it's a corvette this time, that is still missing all the turrets though
i'm thinking about texturing it in vasudan style, but with team color support too
further plans are to add a shield subsystem, for those who want to use it

Re: the endless paths of modeling lego ships
the model itself is finished, let me show you some test renders:

however, i'm thinking about doing a bit of this:

that is, modeling a bit of interior and making some of the armour destroyable

Parts of this skeleton will be shown after some part of the ship blew up to hell? I'm not fully understand how it's supposed to work. If exactly as I imagined, this is cool!
